What is IP?

For example, the IP address of 104.26.13.163 is the IP address of the server where our Berqnet site is located.

Through your IP address, you can identify the location of your device and be distinguished from many other devices.

Your ISP must use dynamic IP addresses for this method to work.

2. IP Change Through Computer

There are many ways to change your IP address on a computer. The most popular of these ways, Virtual Private Network ( Virtual Private Network ), ie VPN 'dir. VPN encrypts your internet connection and routes through a server in a location of your choice. Websites, online services, and other devices on the web only see the IP address of the VPN server, not your real IP address.

VPNs are useful for unblocking regional locked content (such as Wikipedia or Twitter in our country) and bypassing censorship in schools, offices or countries such as China, as a result of restrictions imposed by countries as a result of some legal cases.

If you don't know how to set up a VPN, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign up with a suitable VPN provider.
  2. Download the VPN app suitable for your device.
  3. Open the VPN app and choose a server in your home country, but if you want to access a particular service, be sure to select a server in a country where it will be unblocked.

Your process has been completed. You now have a different IP address.

3.Changing IP in Windows with CMD

Type ipconfig / renew in the prompt window , press Enter , wait for a while, the DHCP server will assign a new IP address to your computer.

Can an address be determined from an IP address?

Your IP address is generally public and can be used by others to find out where you (or your device) are located as a location. However, people who learn your IP address cannot learn personal information about you. Although the address tells you that your computer is in a specific city or state; it cannot disclose your name, address, telephone number or other identifying information.

If finding an address from IP address is a very important issue for you, you need to find out the exact physical address by contacting the ISP that assigned the IP address. This is not possible unless a crime is committed legally.

However, if you do not want your location to be known, it is possible to completely anonymize yourself and change your IP address using a VPN service or virtual private network.

The VPN service edits your IP address as if you were connecting to the internet from a different location. Many people who use VPN services believe that they provide optimum security and privacy while browsing the internet.

What is IP Conflict?

An IP conflict occurs when two or more devices on the same network are assigned the same IP address.

IP conflicts are rare in modern networks. This is due to DHCP ( Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol ) , the system that routers use to distribute IP addresses . When you connect a new device to your network with DHCP, your router chooses an available IP address from the pool of options. The device will use this IP for a while until it needs to get a new IP.
