What is my User-Agent?

Your User-Agent is Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; ClaudeBot/1.0; +claudebot@anthropic.com)

What is an "User-Agent:" HTTP header?

User-Agent is a HTTP header code string that sends some software information to the website linked by a web browser. The information sent includes information such as "Operating system, how many bits, browser name, browser version and browser platform". With this information, website owners can be used to make the website's software and design compatible with the browser and to improve it.

Browser User-Agent headers are vital to the user experience. While modern browsers are highly compatible for general web applications today, some specialized software is only supported by some browsers. To ensure this compatibility, webmasters receive these special codes from the HTTP header information and provide compatibility between the server and the client according to the application and system information.
